Catholic Priests: Not Just Child Rapists

March 29, 2010
Pope Pedophile XVI, God’s infallible mouthpiece

The Catholic Church isn’t just an international pedophile ring.

It’s also a haven for rapists.

This report from The Independent:

Vatican confirms report of sexual abuse and rape of nuns by priests in 23 countries

“The Vatican reports cited countless cases of nuns forced to have sex with priests. Some were obliged to take the pill, others became pregnant and were encouraged to have abortions. In one case in which an African sister was forced to have an abortion, she died during the operation and her aggressor led the funeral mass. Another case involved 29 sisters from the same congregation who all became pregnant to priests in the diocese.”

This is of course the same church that claims condoms don’t stop AIDS and abortion is evil.

“[Reports included] cases of priests encouraging the nuns to take the pill telling them it would prevent HIV. Others “actually encouraged abortion for the sisters” and Catholic hospitals and medical staff reported pressure from priests to carry out terminations for nuns and other young women.”

The article also contains a revealing statement by Vatican spokes-pedophile Joaquin Navarro Valls. (It might seem unfair to use that label without a shred of evidence, but given they take accusation so lightly, it won’t cause them any distress if we err on the side of caution).

The problem is known and involves a restricted geographical area. Certain negative situations must not overshadow the often heroic faith of the overwhelming majority of religious, nuns and priests.
Joaquin Navarro Valls
Yes, he really said that.
The problem is known…

Oh, good so you guys already know about this and are working on it. Maybe in 300 years there might be some kind of acknowledgement that it was wrong.

…and involves a restricted geographical area.

Only 23 countries. Ok, I guess if we include the two thirds of the earth’s surface which is covered by water, that really isn’t all that much, and even less if we include the actual square mileage of ocean floor topography. And of course, as soon as we hear of systematic rape, our first thought is Oh my God, I hope it only took place in a restricted geographical area.

Certain negative situations…

Yes, situations do occur and some of them are bound to be negative. Maybe those were Jesus’ last words.

…must not overshadow the often heroic faith of the overwhelming majority of religious, nuns and priests.

Cleverly disguised by all the weasely circumlocutions, is a rather blatant and unexpected apportioning of guilt.

nuns and priests…

We must not let the nuns’ involvement in such negative situations overshadow their reputations. Was this just a slip of the tongue? Or does he really consider the nuns share the burden of sin, just as they must share the sin of Eve?

The Catholic church still hasn’t quite adjusted to the changes in the way men have learned to view women over the last few centuries.

  1. I was actually considering studying to become a Catholic recently, but decided against it. This story is sickening. Seems they didn’t take care of the sex abuse problems as they claimed to have done a few years ago. This is horrific.Abuse of nuns used to happen years ago,but I didn’t know it still was taking place.Tragic.

BTW The crazy guy at SDs is LeeKuan, aka several other names. I’m trying to scare him away by telling him he’s been “located”. Don’t think I’m crazy or serious when I tell him weird things, just trying to mess with his mind so he’ll leave us alone.

  2. Someone should give LeeK. Ray’s address and wish him good luck.

  3. I don’t think it has anything to do with how men “view” women. Men KNOW women are human, they just don’t CARE. At least these types of men.

It is not a lack of education or knowledge, is my point. It’s not like women’s humanity is so unobvious that it wouldrequire thinking outside the box or education.

The “they just havn’et been taught” crowd wants to make women’s humanity seem non-obvious and at the same time try to absolve men from ignoring it (they were just never tooollllld! boo hoo!)

  4. Re-reading that, I’m surprised at how I worded it. There’s a congratulatory tone in it that wasn’t intended and certainly hasn’t been deserved!!!

  5. Yeah, it happens, mostly because people who claim to mean well and to be in support of pro women pro minority issues often teach their students and listeners to swallow the “bigoted peolpe are bigoted always by accident” line, perhaps because maybe they are pro bigots in disguise.

I’ve always had my suspicions that some people in the elite who hire and encourage those fake anti-bigotry educators are encouraging them to say such things because they know they only cause more hatred and strife because they leave the bigot unpunished and justice undefended.

But then again, that may be my conspiracy mind acting up. ;)

  6. As a man I’ve learned to assume that my default setting will make me act like a fucking idiot unless I pay attention to what I’m doing. And the stuff I’ve learned has often come from having my noise rubbed in it. And I think I’m one of the more sensitive types…

Yeh, watch out for the conspiracy mind — it’s the reptilian brain and will take over your brain like it has the entire White House who are anyway controlled by aliens…!

  7. Not all men are stupid or immoral/insenstive so I don’t know what you’re talking about, and the men who are stupid or insensitive are made that way by society, especially since there’s no one male behavior. Ther’es also no reason to assume that any human being would harbor instincts or behavior that would be harmful or insensitive to others by nature, as no babies are insensitive or hard hearted, nor are insensitive behaviours (rape, not caring about others, sex in which one partner uses the other, objectifying people, dominance, etc) are not instinctive or fun behaviors even from the perpetrator’s point of view, even if they werne’t aware of the effect on the victim.

You didnt know not all males behaved in the same way? (scratches head) I’m confused, could you explain?

  8. I’m probably writing short hand instead of long hand, in very complicated territory. Sorry.

I didn’t mean that all men are inherently screwed up or tend towards rape. Rather, that it’s inherently difficult to deal with sexual feelings and impulses, so we try to avoid it as much as possible.

The church refuses to acknowledge sexuality as it is, and while I think many priests and nuns suffer a private misery for this, the reason it’s turned into such a worldwide disaster of all forms of abuse, has more to do with the power structures of the church.
